Invitation: Ten Years after the 2004 EU Enlargement – International Conference on 24 and 25 April

Vienna, 10 April 2014 - Celebrating the 10th anniversary of the accession of ten Central, Eastern and Southeastern European countries to the European Union, the Austrian Federal Ministry for Europe, Integration and Foreign Affairs (BMEIA), the Federation of Austrian Industries (IV), the Institute for Human Sciences (IWM), the Vienna Institute for International Economic Studies (wiiw) and the Oesterreichische Nationalbank (OeNB) in cooperation with “Die Presse” have the pleasure to invite you to the international conference “The 2004 EU Enlargement – 10 Years After: Achievements and Next Steps”. A wide range of international experts from the field of science, politics and business will speak at the conference, inter alia:

- Sebastian Kurz, Federal Minister for Europe, Integration and Foreign Affairs, Austria
- Miroslav Lajčák, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Slovakia
