The Austrian library in Baku
Since April 2016 the OeAD Info-Point Baku is also an examination Center for ÖSD (Österreichisches Sprachdiplom Deutsch), which is a state-approved examination and assessment system for German as Foreign Language / German as a Second Language. The ÖSD diplomas are standardised proof of language competence and are recognized in Austria, Germany and Switzerland.

State visit of Federal President Heinz Fischer and Mrs. Margit Fischer in Georgia
Federal President Heinz Fischer visited the capital of Georgia, Tiblisi from 19. - 20. May 2015. The welcome by the President of Georgia, Giorgi Margvelaschvili was followed by a two person conversation between the head of states. Furthermore, together with the Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili a bilateral business forum was opened. An additional higlight of the visit was a meeting with the Patriarch of Georgia S.H. Ilia II in his residence.
