Ernst Mach Grant for studying in Austria

Named after famous Austrian physicist Ernst Mach, two grants are offered:The Ernst Mach grant to study at an Austrian university of applied sciences provides an opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students of Natural Sciences, Technical Sciences, Human Medicine, Health Sciences, Agricultural Sciences, Social Sciences and Humanitiesto study for up to 10 months at an Austrian university of applied sciences.         

The Ernst Mach worldwide grant is aimed ad postgraduate or PhD students in the same fields who can study and undertake research in Austria for up to 9 months

Richard Plaschka Fellowship in Austrian history

The Richard Plaschka fellowship provides an opportunity for young unviersity teachers in the field of history who focus their research on Austrian history. The grantee can undertake research at an Austrian institution for up to 18 months.

APPEAR scholarships

The "APPEAR Austrian Partnership Programme in Higher Education & Research for Development" is open to students from Bhutan and Nepal desiring to pursue Master or PhD studies in Austria, as well as to academic partnership projects between universities from the countries. The scholarships are financed in part by the Austrian Development Cooperation. The 2015 call for applications is open from 31 March until 31 July 2015.
