Temporary Closure of Austrian Consulates in Australia and New Zealand
The Honorary Consulate Auckland will be closed from 29 July 2013 until 01 September 2013.

Expiry of Child-Entries in the Austrian Passport of a Parent
On 15 June 2012 entries of children in the Austrian passport of a parent automatically expired and every child now requires a separate passport to travel. The validity of the parent's passport is not affected.

Mobile Passport Application in 2013
An officer of the Embassy will travel to Adelaide and Brisbane with a mobile fingerprint scanner in 2013. Austrian citizens who are unable to apply for a new passport in Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne, Perth or Auckland may use these opportunities to submit their passport application:
Adelaide: Presumably October 2013 (Austrian Honorary Consulate). The exact date will be announced on this website in September 2013.
Brisbane: Presumably October or November 2013 (Austrian Honorary Consulate General). The exact date will be announced on this website in September 2013.

Working Holiday Visa Agreement with New Zealand
