Passport Application Offices in Australia and New Zealand
As of 1 September 2009 Austrian passport applications can be lodged at the Embassy in Canberra, the Honorary Consulates Sydney, Melbourne and Perth and at the Honorary Consulate in Auckland/New Zealand.

Changes to the Austrian Passport Legislation
In accordance with the EU-principle "one person - one passport" as of 15 June 2009 it will be no longer possible to have children entered into the passport of the Austrian parent(s). Existing entries of children will automatically loose validity by 15 June 2012.
