Foreign Ministry (Council of Ministers decides on appointment to leading diplomatic missions posts abroad (Min. of Europ. and Intern. Affairs)

Vienna, 11 October 2011 – At the request of Vice-Chancellor and Foreign Minister Michael Spindelegger, the Council of Ministers decided to appoint two new heads of Austrian missions abroad at today’s meeting.

The appointment of the following persons was proposed:

Mag. Andrea IKIC-BÖHM, Austrian Embassy in Zagreb

Dr. Martin SAJDIK, Permanent Representation of Austria to the United Nations in New York

The persons above will be accredited after consent to their appointment has been given by the receiving state and after Austria’s Federal President has provided the respective credentials.
