Austrian schools abroad

Istanbul, Guatemala, Budapest, and Prague are the locations of Austrian schools abroad offering an Austrian curriculum and Austrian teaching staff. These institutions have one thing in common, namely their excellent reputation in their host countries as educational centres raising the future intellectual elite.

However, German-speaking schools that employ Austrian teaching staff are found all over the world.

The teachers at bilingual schools in neighbouring Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Hungary in particular contribute greatly to spreading and promoting the German language and imparting facts and figures about Austria. For the most part, these teachers hold German classes, but, partly in German, they also teach geography, biology, mathematics, physics, chemistry and commercial subjects.
