On 1 October 2014, on the "Day of Coffee", EUNIC Austria in cooperation with the Fachverband Wien der Kaffeehäuser organises readings in traditional Viennes Cafés. For instance, Chris Pichler reads texts from Georgia and Austria at the Café Prückel.  Österreich.

Cooperations, Funding Programmes and Sponsoring

 This cooperation between the Foreign Ministry and the Academy of Austrian Films was initiated in 2012 and proved itself very successful. Through the Ministry's network abroad outstanding short movies are presented worldwide as part of the "Austrian Shortmovies Exhibition". With great success and gratifying resonance as shown in the "Review of 2012/2013". This were the films of the "Austrian Shormovies Exhibition 2012/13".

The supporting program of the Ministry, which was launched in 2002, aims at presenting the Austrian musical creativity to young musicians as lively, modern and cultural diverse. Information on the selected soloists and ensembles can be found in the NASOM Brochüre 2014/2015 as well as in the NASOM Brochüre 2012/2013.

Science

Cooperation in scientific research and technological development makes an important contribution to enhancing good relations between nations.
