Hand-Over of a Small Embassy Project in Alexandra

Austrian State Secretary Hans Winkler launched the Small Embassy Project in Alexandra in June 2008 on the occasion of a personal meeting with the Presbyterian Church Alexandra. The project has provided instant aid after outbreaks of violence against foreigners and minorities and secured the continuation of social work provided by the project partner. 

During a visit to the Corlett Gardens camp, State Secretary Winkler took the time to speak directly to refugees, mainly from Zimbabwe.
