Concert with Arnold Schönberg's "Verklärte Nacht" (Transfigured Night)

Arnold Schönberg's "Verklärte Nacht" ("Transfigured Night" in the 1943 version for orchestra) will be performed at the closing concert of the Johannesburg International Mozart Festival at the Linder Auditorium on 19 February at 3 p.m. - a rare event in South Africa. Ariel Zuckermann will conduct the Johannesburg Festival Orchestra. Also in the progamme: "Eine Kleine Nachtmusik" by W.A. Mozart.
