Enlargement of area of responsibility
As of 1 January, 2012, after the closure of the Embassy in Harare, the Emassy in Pretoria will cover three additonal countries: Angola, Mozambique and Zimbabwe. The Embassy's area of responsablility will thus increase to ten countries with all in all ca. 5.7 mio square kilometres of surface and ca. 125 mio people.
Austrian Honorary consulates exist in Luanda and Maputo. Another one in Harare will be opened as soon as possible.
In this regard, this website will be up-dated in early January.
