Welcome to the Austrian Cultural Forum Ottawa!

It is a great pleasure to welcome you to our cultural website. The Austrian Cultural Forum aims at enhancing the cultural and scientific exchange between Austria and Canada by inviting Austrian artists in co-operation with Canadian partners to perform in Canada.

A special emphasis is put on contemporary Austrian art and culture with a focus on music and film. This does not mean that the traditional aspects of Austrian culture are disregarded. We rather strive to built upon them.

In the scientific field, we value the cooperation with the Wirth Institute for Austrian and Central European Studies at the University of Alberta in Edmonton.
