All matters (Passport, Visa, Residence Permit, Citizenship, Legalizations, etc.) require appointments booked through our online registry. Excluded from this requirement are emergencies for Austrian citizens only.

Starting November 10th, 2014, appointments for residence permits that are subject to a quota ('quotenpflichtige Niederlassungsbewilligungen') may be booked via e-mail los-angeles-gk(at)bmeia.gv.at. Appointments will be available from 9 am onwards on January 2nd and shall be confirmed only via e-mail from the Consulate. Please note that each applicant, also minors, needs to book a separate appointment and has to present an application in person.
No more applications for internships at the Austrian Consulate General Los Angeles in 2014 will be accepted.
