Bilateral Relations
The diplomatic relations between Malaysia and Austria had been established on August 6, 1962.
The already excellent and friendly bilateral relations between the two countries were even more intensified by the visit of the Austrian Minister for Health Youth and Family – Dr. Andrea KDOLSKY in Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur and Sarawak) in November 2007.
During the last years at least one member of the Malaysian Government visited Austria every year.
