Working in Austria

Citizens of Indonesia, Singapore or Timor Leste who wish to work in Austria need a work permit. Your futur employer requests this permit in Austria at the local Employment Agency (AMS - Arbeitsmarktservice Österreich).

After having received your work permit you have to apply for a residence permit or visa valid for Austria. Your work permit doesn't allow you automatically to enter and stay in Austria!
