Austrian opening movie for the EU Film Festival "Europe on Screen"
The EU Film Festival "Europe on Screen" will be opened by the Austrian hit movie "Dead in 3 days" on November 6, 2011 in Jakarta.
Rama Widi Harp Concert on 10 August 2011
On 10 August 2011 the renowned Indonesian harpist Rama Widi, who studies at the Vienna University of Music, will perform at the Erasmus Huis in Jakarta. More details on the concert can be found on the poster.
German-speaking Film event at the Goethe Institut - 18 June 2011
For the fourth time a joint film event by the Embassies of the German-speaking countries was held in Jakarta. The Austrian Embassy contributed the feature film "The Breath of Heaven" by Reinhold Bilgeri, which was very well received by the Indonesian audience.
"Bauchklang" at the JavaJazzFestival - March 2011
The Austrian vocal acrobats and Amadeus awardees "Bauchklang", which literally means gut sound, performed for the first time in Indonesia.
Helmut Kand Exhibition in Yogyakarta - from February 2011
The Exhibition was opened by the Austrian Federal Minister Beatrix Karl on the occasion of the opening of the Austrian Honorary Consulate for Yogyakarta and Central Java.

The Austrian football documentary "Kick Off" was shown in Timor Leste for the third edition of the EU Film Festival.
Helmut Kand Exhibition at the Conrad Hotel in Bali - from December 2010
The renowned Austrian artist Professor Helmut Kand showed some of his colourful paintings and sculptures at the Conrad in Bali, the exhibition was opened by the Austrian Ambassador.

The Ensemble performed 2 concerts at Salihara and gave masterclasses in Jakarta and Yogyakarta

The Austrian documentary "Cooking History" by Paul Kerekes was shown in Jakarta and Banda Aceh.
Jakarta „KidsFfest“ - April 2010
The Austro-Latvian co-production “Der kleine Bankräuber” (“The little Robbers”) starring Karl Markovics competed at the 2nd Children’s Film Festival in Jakarta and received the audience award.
HDV Trio at the JavaJazzFestival – March 2010
The modern Austrian jazz “HDV Trio” performed at the 5. JavaJazz Festival 2010 in Jakarta. The trio made an international name for itself when it prevailed over 60 other competitors at the “New Generation” 06 jazz competition in Straubing, Germany. David Helbock won second prize at the world’s biggest jazz-piano solo competition in Montreux in 2007. In 2008 “HDV Trio” released its second CD, “All In,” on “Doublemoon Records.” It was very well received by European jazz-critics.
