In cooperation with local partners the Austrian Consulate General organizes cultural events, offering a spectrum of music, arts, architecture, film and design from Austria. Please find here a selection of some of our activities of the past few years:

During the Mozart Year 2006 a series of concerts and a documentary exhibition will be held during the Hong Kong Arts Festivals (09.02.-12.03.2006).

The cooperation between Austrian and Hong Kong universities is playing an important role in the relations between the two countries. Several partnership and cooperation agreements have been concluded between Austrian and Hong Kong universities. The number of Austrian students studying in Hong Kong is growing steadily. Some of Hong Kong universities (Hong Kong University, Hong Kong Baptist University, Chinese University, City University, Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts) have become members of the Eurasia-Pacific Uninet in spring 2005. Eurasia-Pacific Uninet, a network of universities, academies and other educational institutions in partner states, has been established by the Austrian Federal Ministry for Education, Science and Culture, the main focus being the People's Republic of China, Mongolia and Russia.
