Literature event with Anna Kim and Iben Mondrup
New literature on Greenland
During the last couple of years a great deal of new literature on Greenland has been written – also outside Greenland. What the authors find so interesting about the cold north, is what we’ll try to find out at this literature event, where the Austrian author Anna Kim with South Korean origin and the Danish Author Iben Mondrup will tell us about their latest books, ANATOMIE EINER NACHT and STORE MALENE, which both are taking place in Greenland. Come and meet the two authors and hear them, when they read out of their books (in German and Danish) and talk about their fascination for the big white island. The conversation will be held in English.
Anna Kim (* 1977) – born in South Korea and now settled in Austria. She has i.a. published DIE BILDERSPUR (2004), DIE GEFRORENE ZEIT (2008) and latest the well reviewed ANATOMIE EINER NACHT (2012), which will be released in Danish this Autumn.
Iben Mondrup (* 1969) – brought up in Greenland and now settled in Copenhagen. She has published the novels VED SLUSEN (2009), EN TO TRE - JUSTINE (2012) and latest STORE MALENE (2013), which has received great reviews.
