Consular fees
Although many of our services are provided free of charge, in a number of instances a fee must be charged. Payment must be made in cash or per money-order (payable to the Austrian Consulate General).
Consular fees for February 2012 (fees quoted in USD):
- Schengen Visa for adults: 77.40
- Schengen Visa for children (6 - 12 years): 45.20
- Schengen Visa for children (0 - 6 years): free of charge
- Schengen Visa for applicants holding passports issued by the Russian Federation, Ukraine, Georgia, Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia: 45.20
- Austrian National Visa: 129.00
- Application for a Residence Permit for Adults: 103.20
- Application for a Residence permit for Minors (under 18 years of age): 64.50
- Identification Card for Adults: 73.60
- Identification Card for Minors (under 16 years of age): 34.90
- Austrian Passport: 90.30
- Child's Passport (under 12 years of age): 38.70
- Austrian Certificate of Citizenship: 62.00
- Authentication of a Signature: 51.60
- Authentication of a Copy: 51.60
- Austrian Certificate of Good Conduct (criminal record): 54.20
- Forwarding of Document: 23.30
- Ordering of a Document from Austria: 31.00
- Official Act outside regular Opening Hours: additional fee of 50% according to the applicable consular fee structure
