The curriculum of the German School is based on the German school system, integrating parts of the NSW system. Lessons are conducted in German. English is taught from Year 1 and follows the NSW curriculum. French tuition starts from Year 7. The German School has registration from the Board of Studies of New South Wales to conduct classes from Year K to Year 10. Year 10 students sit for German exams, supervised by the German authorities. Upon receiving accreditation as an 'Approved German Language School Abroad', the German School will proceed to Year 13, offering students the choice of completing their education by sitting for the 'Abitur'.
