Police Clearance Certificates provide information concerning possible criminal records or convictions of applicants.
An application for a Certificate of Good Conduct may be filed either in Austria (at the Police Departments in the main cities or at the mayor's office in the smaller towns/villages) or abroad (at an Austrian Embassy or Consulate). Applications have to be filed in person.
Necessary documents:
- Application form
- ID (e.g. Passport - original or certified copy)
- Money order or bank cheque for the current consular fee made out "Austrian Embassy"
