Consular Fees for February 2012
Schengen Visa (airport transit, travel visa) AUD 75.-

Schengen Visa for Citizens of the Russian Federation, the Ukraine, Albania, Georgia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia and Moldova - AUD 44.--
Austrian National Visa (longer than three months, maximum six months) AUD 124.-
New Austrian passport and emergency passport:
- Passport fee: AUD 87.- plus
- Application fee: AUD 38,- (if lodged through the Consulates Sydney, Melbourne or Auckland) ***)
New Austrian passport and emergency passport for children (up to age 12) *)

*) As of 01/01/2008 services in relation to the birth of a child (e.g. issuing of the first passport and/or certificate of citizenship) are free of charge within two years after the birth.
**) This fee does not include the fee charged by the relevant authority in Austria for issuing the new document (i.e. birth certificate, marriage certificate, change of name document etc.).
***) As of 01/04/2011 additional fees apply if an Austrian passport or ID-Card is lodged through one of the Honorary Consulates listed.
This fee does not apply if the passport application is lodged through the Embassy in Canberra or if no passport fees apply (see *) for details).
