Legalization

upon request of Austrian nationals

1. Legalization of private signatures executed or acknowledged at the Embassy
2. Legalization of seal and signature of the Austrian Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs in Vienna
3. Legalization of seal and signature of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Abu Dhabi or of their offices in one of the other Emirates
4. Legalization of copies, stating that the copy is a true copy of the original
   The consular fee is 40 Euro, to be paid in local currency only.
   
5. Stamp "Seen at the Austrian Embassy": If an Austrian document has not been legalised by the Austrian Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs in Vienna, but is needed in the UAE for example for immigration, the Austrian Embassy can stamp this document.
   The consular fee is 36 Euro, to be paid in local currency only.

• The person asking for Legalization services has to be present personally at the Embassy and must provide proper ID (e.g. passport).
• The Embassy does NOT provide translation services.
• The accuracy of a translation is NOT the responsibility of the Consulate.
• The Embassy is NOT responsible for the content of a document.
