Certificate of Austrian citizenship
The following documents are required
1) Renewal due to change of name (because of marriage)
- Application form duly completed and signed
- Birth certificate of applicant
- Passport of applicant
- Valid UAE residence visa
- Old certificate of citizenship Marriage certificate
2) First issuance for children:
- Application form duly completed and signed
- Birth certificate of applicant
- Certificate of citizenship of Austrian parent
- Passports of both parents
- Valid UAE residence visa
- Birth certificate of Austrian parent
- Passport of non-Austrian parent
- Marriage certificate of parents
All foreign documents have to be translated into German and legalized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Austrian Embassy.
The consular fee is 48 Euro, to be paid in local currency only.
