Work Program
Work Program of the Security Council
Each month the United Nations secretariat prepares a provisional program of work for the United Nations Security Council. The current Council President first discusses this program with each member on a bilateral basis, then puts it before the members in informal consultations. Once agreed, the document is posted on the United Nations website. The Work program is not a binding Council Agenda, but merely a framework for scheduling both formal and informal discussion of various issues expected to arise.
Austria is also required to chair certain subsidiary bodies such as Sanctions Committees or Working Groups.
